Delicious Vegan Cinnamon Rolls Made with Spice Drops

There’s something truly comforting about the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls wafting through the air. Ingredients
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Cinnamon Spice Drops
Method
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm almond milk, maple syrup, melted vegan butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add the instant yeast to the mixture and let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  7. Brush the dough with melted vegan butter and mix with a few drops of Cinnamon Spice Drops. 
  8. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and slice it into equal-sized rolls.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover them, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
